How much does after School Kids Care Program Cost?
The cost of registration for After School kids Care program is $30. This is usually paid during the first week of school or at the Celebration of Learning open house.
Weekly fees ($50 per week), drop-in fees, and enrichment program pricing will be available in the teacher assignment mailing and at the Celebration of Learning open house.
For an additional fee, enrichment programs and clubs are available.

How much does after School Kids Care Program Cost Information
After School Care program is far more than just child care- ASC educates the whole child.
It is designed to ensure your child gets the academic help needed to complete their homework and the physical activity they need for growing.
ASC includes activities such as art, music, science, and gardening, to help nurture and encourage your child’s creativity.
Enrollment
For the 2022/23 school year 3 day, 4-day, & 5-day per-week options are available with flexible enrollment where you choose your preferred days.
Tuition does not include Holidays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Spring Break vacations per the Medford 549C school district calendar.
Camps are available in most instances with preferred enrollment offered to current ASC families. Prorated tuition is charged for mid-year starts.
Cancellation
You may cancel your enrollment with one calendar month’s notice.
Calendar
After School Care follows the Medford 549C school district calendar for most holidays and in-service days.
Transportation
Kindergarten—6th Grade transportation is available from Abraham Lincoln, Lone Pine, Hoover and
Materials Fee
$100/student which serves as the Non-Refundable Deposit.
Snacks
Snacks are provided in each of the sessions.
Early Release
Early release is included in tuition if it is a regularly scheduled day for your child.
In-service Days
In-service camps are available in most instances. Information will be released once available.
Camps
Christmas and Spring Break camps are available for an additional cost.
Information and pricing for camps will be available prior to camps starting.
Annual Registration Fees
Individual: $30.00/year; family: $60.00/year. The registration fee is valid for all programs.
Member discounts apply on Special Events, Parent’s Night Out, Camps, and Open Gym/Swim.
After School Child Care Basics
Below are the basics of After School Child Care Basics:
‣ Ages: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
‣ Days & Times: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm-6pm, dates in line with the Knox County Schools calendar.
‣ Tuition & Fees (Full time (4 or 5 days) = $65 per week participants / $51 per week Y members).
‣ Tuition & Fees (Part time (3 or fewer days) = $42 per week participants / $36 per week Y members).
‣ Enrollment Fee = $50 per child.
‣ DHS certificate funding is accepted. Scholarships are available to families who qualify.
Summary
Children have the chance to continue learning through after-school activities after regular school hours.
Since the majority of schools finish up around 3:00 p.m. and the typical person works until 5:00 p.m. or later, these programs also give parents who work more hours a childcare choice.
