Through its professional, technical, clinical, and academic programs, the college serves as an advocate for change and improvement in the field of healthcare services.

CHCP is proud to be accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).

Our Diagnostic Medical Sonography Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Austin and Fort Worth are programmatically accredited by CAAHEP.

The student must have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.0 (“C” average) in the certificate or diploma program from which they have graduated.

Participants should also be able to read and write English, have good coordination, and demonstrate professional attributes.

Certification of Health Care Provider. Certified Healthcare CPD Professional, a certification program managed by the Commission for Certification of Healthcare CPD Professionals.

Fortunately, many colleges and universities across the country offer undergraduate majors in the medical field to prepare students for careers in many aspects of healthcare.

CHCP accepts the FAFSA at our nine campuses and through our Online Division.

The drug screen will be completed by the first day of class. Applicants are allowed to test only once.

If the result is positive, the applicant is removed from the program and deferred from reapplying for one year, at which time they may re-apply and repeat the entire admission process.

It is up to the institution at which you are enrolling to evaluate credits earned at CHCP and determine if they will apply at the transferring institution.
