Why Does Life Suck and How Can You Fix it?
Why does life suck? Are you having a bad day right now? It’s been a difficult year for many, and it’s okay if you’re feeling down right now.

When confronted with a series of challenges over which they have no control, it is natural for people to feel as if life is conspiring against them.
Death, finances, job loss, physical and mental health issues, and other personal tragedies are all things that can make life difficult. The list can become quite lengthy! Why is it that when we try to improve those things, life gets even worse?
Why Does Life Suck?
There are numerous other factors that make life difficult. It also appears that they come in waves; one bad thing happens, and then another as if the world wants to kick you when you’re down.
So, why does life sometimes stink? There are times when it has nothing to do with you, your efforts, or how good of a person you are. Life is difficult, bad things happen, and sometimes it just plain stinks.
How to Fix it
You have the option of following your Neanderthal programming and focusing on fears you can’t control, or you can focus on all the abundance in your life.
1. Focus on the Good
You’ve got a lot going on in your life, some of it unavoidably positive. If you’re reading this, you probably have a safe place to sleep every night, people who care about you, and unlimited food access.
Instead of focusing on all of the good things in our lives, we frequently focus on what went wrong, what we don’t have, and what isn’t good enough.
2. Try Expressive Writing
Writing can be an effective way to cope with traumas or other emotional upheavals.
Emotional writing, also known as Expressive Writing in research studies, can improve people’s sleep habits, work efficiency, and connections with others.
Indeed, when we incorporate traumatic experiences into our work, we are less concerned with emotional events that have been weighing us down.

3. Build Resilience
Life is not easy, no doubt about it. However, how we deal with life’s difficulties makes a huge difference.
You can either easily overcome them or suffer greatly as a result of them. The ability to cope well during difficult times is referred to as resilience.
Here are a few things you should work on to improve your resilience and ability to deal with stress:
1. Work on your competence because it can boost your self-confidence and worth, allowing you to deal with whatever life throws at you.
2. Improve your confidence by learning about what interests you, achieving results, and gradually establishing your presence in the business world or anything else that catches your eye.
3. Maintain a close relationship with the people you enjoy spending time with, socialize with friends, and simply exchange energy with them to feel connected and appreciated.
4. Stay Away from Social Media
We cannot simply label social media as good or bad because it has done so much for the world.
It has helped businesses thrive and has connected people from all over the world, which has also contributed to the development of friendships and even relationships that have culminated in marriage.
However, with the use of filters, an unrealistic beauty standard that is impossible to meet has emerged. This is why so many teenagers experience anxiety and depression, but it is not limited to this age group.
5. Eliminate the Negativity from Your Life
I’ve had long periods of feeling lost in the last few years. I was nervous, depressed, confused, and lacked direction.
I couldn’t sleep, eat, or laugh, and I couldn’t enjoy anything. It was total chaos.
However, once I asked for help, I became acutely aware that I was constantly surrounded by toxic people. When I started avoiding them, my joy returned, and I was able to enjoy the little things again.
6. Practice Handling New Ideas
New ideas and new activities can reverse a downward trend. The disadvantage is that growing yourself can mean growing apart from those who want you to stay exactly as you are. Prepare yourself.
Not everyone will be supportive if you change, begin to take new actions, or speak in a new way. Keep in touch with your true friends.
The people who will always be there for you. They are the ones who always and only wish for you to have the best life possible.
